Founder & Owner
Julia Rosario
Julia Rosario, founder of North American Weekend, was born and raised in Connecticut with a strong passion for creativity, independence, and building something of her own. Her approach is simple: create products with the same level of care and quality she would expect to receive herself, and treat every customer with the same respect and attentiveness she appreciates as a customer.
What began with a single machine in a back room has grown into a beautiful brick-and-mortar store and workshop. That's where the magic still happens today.
When she’s not designing new products or working in the shop, Julia enjoys awesome things like snowboarding, dirtbike riding, car slinging, food eating. Super sick!
Director of Business Operations
Toad
Sweet baby boy Toad is the heart of this operation. Known for his calm demeanor and somewhat stalker-like supervisory skills, Toad prefers to oversee operations from the workbench or on Julia’s lap while new designs are being created. His primary responsibilities include quality control naps, design consultations, and maintaining overall shop morale.
Operational Sales Director
Mushroom
Sweet baby ray Mushroom takes her role very seriously. Equal parts sassy, playful, and sleepy, she ensures that productivity stays high by loudly meowing for scheduled play breaks throughout the day. Mushroom is also known for sitting directly in front of the computer monitor during important tasks—so if there’s ever a slight delay in processing an order, it's okay... it's for a good cause.
Loss Prevention Supervisor
Lila
Lila is the shop’s Loss Prevention Supervisor and resident healer. With a light and steady presence, she keeps the workshop balanced and peaceful. Lila is quick to assist wherever needed during her six very productive waking hours each day before returning to her important restorative duties.
